Short answer: Greenply shows an entry price, before tax, for the thinnest sheet in each series: MR 303 from ₹45 per sq ft, Gold (BWP, IS 710) from ₹55, 710 Marine from ₹60 (6mm), Platinum fire-retardant from ₹67, Club 700 from ₹76 and Club 500 from ₹77. For an 18mm BWP sheet, Greenply's own buying guide puts the price at about ₹3,500-5,500 a sheet, which is ₹109-172 per sq ft.
Those product-page figures exclude GST and are starting prices, so they are not directly comparable with CenturyPly's list prices, which include GST. Compare like for like: same thickness, same grade, tax shown separately.

Read the warranty terms. Greenply's plywood warranty terms ask for manufacturing-defect complaints within 30 days of purchase and describe the remedy as replacement. Keep the invoice and check the sheets as soon as they arrive.
Greenply 710 Marine price by thickness
Greenply's marine plywood rate guide (April 2026) gives a thickness-wise view of its IS 710 sheets. Use it as a ceiling when you compare dealer quotes.

The same guides put 19mm Gold at about ₹134-136 per sq ft. Dealer listings in October 2026 showed Greenply MR and Ecotec MR in 18-19mm at about ₹87-128 per sq ft, and Green Gold 710 in 19mm at about ₹153.

How to check you are buying genuine Greenply
- Read the sheet marking. Every plywood sheet sold in India must carry the ISI mark with a CM/L licence number (CM/L followed by 10 digits) and the standard it is made to: IS 303 for MR, BWR and BWP grades, IS 710 for marine, IS 10701 for structural and IS 5509 for fire-retardant plywood. - Verify the licence. Enter the CM/L number in the BIS Care app (Verify Licence Details) or on the BIS website. The licence holder should match the brand or its contract maker, and the standard should match the grade on your quote. See how to check the ISI mark on plywood.
- Get it on the invoice. Ask for a GST invoice that names the series, grade and thickness. A quote that says only "18mm waterproof" cannot be held to anything later.
What moved plywood prices in 2026
Resin chemicals drove most of the change this year. Phenol and formaldehyde, the raw materials for BWR and BWP glue, rose sharply in March and April 2026, and the large brands passed it on: CenturyPly raised plywood prices by about 7% in April and Greenply by about 4-5%. MDF makers announced increases of around 15% from April, but most of those were rolled back by August. GST on plywood stays at 18%, unchanged by the September 2025 rate changes. For Greenply specifically, analysts reported a plywood increase of about 4-5% after the March quarter cost spike, and in July 2026 the company said it expected broadly flat plywood prices for the next two to three quarters.

Are the prices on Greenply's website final?
No. They exclude tax, are starting prices for the thinnest sheet, and Greenply notes they may vary by location. Add 18% GST and ask for the thickness you need.
What does 18mm Greenply MR cost?
Dealer listings in October 2026 put 18-19mm Greenply MR and Ecotec MR at about ₹87-128 per sq ft. Greenply's own street-price guide shows MR 303 at ₹124-158 for 19-25mm.
Gold or 710 Marine: which should I buy?
Both are IS 710 boiling water proof sheets. Gold has a 30-year warranty against 25 years for 710 Marine and costs a little more in 19mm (about ₹134-136 against ₹125 per sq ft in Greenply's guides).
Is Greenply Club 700 waterproof?
Club 700 is sold as structural plywood to IS 10701. For constant water exposure, check the grade printed on the sheet and the warranty terms, or choose an IS 710 series.
